The Federal Government has approved the reopening of Osubi Airport in Warri, Delta State, for daylight operations.
This was announced by the Minister of Aviation, Hadi Sirika, on his personal Twitter handle.
Sirika said operations at Osubi Airport in Warri shall be subject to all procedures, practices and protocols, including Covid-19.
The Minister said there would not be any need for local approvals henceforth.
In his reaction, the Minister of State for Labour, Festus Keyamo, thanked his Aviation counterpart for the reopening of Osubi Airport in Warri.
Keyamo also said he was sorry for all the pressure he had piled on the Aviation Minister in the last few months.
He said it was for the sake of Nigerians as a whole and for his people in the Niger Delta region in particular
