FG imposes no-fly zone in Zamfara; places meddling non-state actors on surveillance

President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered surveillance on all non-state actors who have been causing problems across Nigeria.

President Buhari also charged both the defence and intelligence agencies to use all means necessary to halt the decent of Nigeria into chaos.

The President’s directives were handed down during the first meeting of the National Security Council this year.

The National Security Adviser, Babagana Monguno, briefed newsmen at the State House in Abuja after the meeting.

Monguno said the National Security Council also took a decision to impose a no-fly zone in Zamfara State and a ban on all mining activities in the state.
