FIFA has banned the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja from hosting any international football match.
The FIFA ban is because of the violent display by fans at the end of the second-leg World Cup qualifier between the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Black Stars of Ghana.
The game ended one-one, but the Ghanaian national football team qualified for the Qatar 2022 World Cup on the basis of away-goal rule, as the first-leg match in Kumasi ended in a goalless draw.
