Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki, appears not to agree with the Finance Minister, Zainab Ahmed, on the state of the Nigerian economy.
Governor Obaseki had said the Federal Government printed up to sixty-billion-naira bank to make up for shortage of revenue allocation, which the Finance Minister denied.
However; Governor Obaseki said he does not want to engage in any argument with the Minister of Finance, adding that it was the duty of citizens to offer advice for the benefit of the country.
Obaseki challenged the Finance Minister to engage Nigerians on ways to solve economic problems in the country, and to end what he called fiscal rascality.
In a statement circulated through his official Facebook page, the Edo State Governor said the federal government must take urgent steps to stop the worsening economic challenges.
