Gunmen have killed two police officers in an attack on the Obosi Police Station in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Ikenga Tochukwu, told Lasgidi FM News Desk that the attackers also burned the police station and two operational vehicles.
Ikenga Tochukwu also said the State Commissioner of Police, Chris Owolabi, has ordered an investigation of the incident.
In another development, a policeman has been killed by gunmen in an attack on Obiozara Police Station, in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.
The spokesperson for the Ebonyi State Police Command, Loveth Odah, confirmed that gunmen invaded the station at about 3AM today and set the administrative building on fire.
