INEC Chairman, Professor Mahmood Yakubu gave the assurance due to public concerns over the security situation in Anambra and other parts of the South-East.
Professor Yakubu made this known at an emergency meeting of the Inter-Agency Consultative Committee on Election Security in Abuja.
However, he warmed that INEC’s preparations for the election would be greatly affected if more election materials are damaged.
