Lagos APC, PDP quarrel over handling of #ENDSARS violence

The ruling All Progressives Congress in Lagos State and the main opposition People’s Democratic Party have disagreed over the handling of the EndSARS protests and the violent aftermath.

While the PDP believes that the state government failed, and called for Governor BABAJIDE SANWO-OLU to step aside; the APC said the PDP’s call is an invitation to lawlessness.

State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, TAOFEEK GANI, told Lasgidi FM News Desk in a telephone interview that the level of violence recorded in Lagos required the declaration of a state of emergency.

On his part; the Lagos APC spokesman, SEYE OLADEJO to Lasgidi FM News Desk that there was no reason for Governor SANWO-OLU to step aside, as he remained determined to provide good governance.
