The Lagos State Safety Commission has sealed six lounges and night clubs in Ikeja as part of its 2022 Zero Accident Campaign.
The Director General and Chief Executive Officer, Lagos State Safety Commission, Lanre Mojola said in a statement that the failure of the lounges and clubs to obtain a safety compliance certificates, lack of fire extinguishers, poor hygiene and also inadequate parking space led to their closure.
The Director-General urged business owners to regularise their safety management documentation towards achieving safer public places across the state.
