Meanwhile; the People’s Democratic Party has asked President Muhammdu Buhari to stop making the future of Nigerian children difficult.

The main opposition party made the call in a message to celebrate Nigerian children on the occasion of the International Children’s Day.

The National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Kola Ologbodinyan, said the celebration of Children’s Day has become a sad reminder of the harsh conditions Nigerian children have been made to life with in the last six years.

He advised the Buhari Administration to initiate policies that would encourage children to enrol in schools, get proper healthcare, as well as to provide for their safety and security in areas where there are crises.
