The Nigerian Basketball Federation has invited eighteen players for the FIBA World Cup qualifier in Angola.
This list includes thirteen foreign-based players and five home-based players, which is expected to reduce to twelve players before the game on Friday this week.
However; the management of Rivers Hoopers is not happy that only one of its players was selected for the FIBA World Cup qualifier.
The Media Officer of the team, Queen John-Mosef, said at least two Rivers Hoopers players should have been called to the national team, having won the national league.
