North Korea says it has successfully tested a new hypersonic missile, which it calls Hwasong-8.
North Korean state news outlet reported that the new missile was one of five most important new weapon systems in the country’s five-year military development plan.
The launch is another indication of Pyongyang’s growing weapons technology despite strict sanctions.
