The All Progressives Congress in Ondo State has expelled one of its members in the State House of Assembly, FAVOUR TOMOWEWO.
The state lawmaker for Ilaje Constituency Two, in Ilaje Local Government Area, is accused of working against the interest of the Ondo APC during the governorship election last Saturday.
TOMOWEWO’s expulsion was confirmed in a letter signed by the Chairman and the Secretary of Mahin Ward Four, in Ilaje Local Government Area, OLAGOKE AJIMUDA and OMOSULE TAID.
TOMOWEWO is the only female lawmaker in the Ondo State Assembly, and she was among nine lawmakers who opposed the impeachment of the Deputy Governor, AGBOOLA AJAYI.
