Ortom reconciles with Bala, as Shema commissions new road in Port Harcourt

Former Governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shema, has called on Nigerians to put aside their differences and work together against insurgents who are threatening the peace and unity of the country.

Ibarhim Shema made the call in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, when he joined Governor NYESOM WIKE to commission one of his road projects.

Shema said most Nigerians have become so involved in political disagreements and have ignored the danger that criminal elements pose to the nation.

On his part, Governor Wike said his administration was making its contribution towards restoring the Garden City status of Port Harcourt.

Meanwhile; Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has confirmed the breakthrough in his reconciliation with Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauch State.

Governor Ortom made this known on his return to Makurdi from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, after a meeting hosted by Governor, Nyesom Wike, together with Governor Ahmed Fintiri of Adamawa State.

Recall that both Governor Ortom and Governor Bala Mohammed had a series of heated exchanges over the handling of the crises involving armed criminal herdsmen.
