Oshodi-Isolo Lawmaker cautions against alleged separatist plots in Lagos

Reactions continue to trail the revelation by the Lagos State Police Command that twenty-four groups are threatening to carry out attacks in parts of the state.

The Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, made the revelation during a security stakeholders’ meeting organized by the Lagos State Government.

Cp Odumosu and his men have been challenged to go beyond raising the alarm and also take steps to stop the alleged plots and bring those behind such to justice.

Emeka Idimogu, who represents Oshodi-Isolo Constituency Two in the Lagos State House of Assembly, made the call in a telephone interview with Lasgidi FM News Desk.

On the claim by the Commissioner of Police that the IPOB is among group plotting attacks in Lagos; the Oshodi-Isolo lawmaker advised that Igbos stand to lose more if Lagos is attacked.

Emeka Idimogu also stressed the need for leaders at all levels to continually talk to their people to shun all actions that threaten the unity and peace of Lagos State, and their entire country.
