The ruling People’s Democratic Party in Oyo State has alleged that some opposition political parties are responsible for the operation of face Amotekun Corps in the state.
The Oyo PDP claims that the unnamed politicians supply fake uniforms of the Amotekun Corps for hoodlums to commit crimes and shift the blame to the government-run local security outfit.
State Publicity Secretary of the PDP, AKEEM OLATUNJI, who made the allegation in a statement, said the aim of those behind the action is to put the blame on Governor SEYI MAKINDE.
However; ABDULAZEEZ OLATUNDE, who is the interim spokesman of the APC in Oyo State, challenged the PDP to make its claim clearer, adding that anyone who breaks the law should be made to face the penalties.
