The Oyo State Government has given out appointment letters to five thousand new teachers for public schools.
Chairman of the Oyo State Teaching Service Commission, Akinade Alamu, said that the new teachers have also been directly to resume work immediately.
Alamu said that the teachers were appointed after a long and careful process of screening and verification, including written examination and interview.
