The Special Investigation Panel on the alleged linked between suspended Deputy Commissioner of Police Abba Kyari and self-confessed internet fraudster, Ramon Abbas, also known as Hushpuppi, has completed its assignment.
The leader of the investigative panel, Joseph Egbunike, who is a Deputy Inspector General of Police, submitted the report to the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
During the presentation ceremony at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, I.G.P. Baba assured that the Police Force remains committed to the course of justice.
Recall that D.C.P Abba Kyari was suspended as head of the police Intelligence Response Team following an allegation that he helped Hushpuppi to deal with a rival fraudster who threatened to expose a one-point-one-million-dollar scam.
