President Muhammadu Buhari has stressed the need for political stability in Libya, as a means to maintain security in the Lake Chad Basin.
President Buhari shared his views during a meeting at the State House in Abuja with the Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya, Mohammed Younis Menfi.
The Nigerian leader noted that the neighbouring countries of Chad and Niger have extensive borders with Libya, adding that whatever affects them also affects Nigeria.
On his part; the Libyan leader said his country expects to reactivate previous agreements with Nigeria.
