The President Muhammadu Buhari has met with the new Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya, at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Yahaya met the President with the Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor and the Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi.
The Minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi told State House Correspondents after the meeting that President BUHARI called for collaboration among the armed forces in the campaign to end insecurity in the country.
