Professor Wole Soyinka call on President Buhari to address calls for agitations  

Noble laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to urgently address the agitations by various sections of the country.

Professor Soyinka spoke in a television interview to mark Democracy Day, which was monitored in Lagos.

Soyinka said he expressed worry that President Buhari had been silent on critical national issues.

More reactions continue to trail President Muhammadu BuharI’s insistence on entrenching open grazing of cattle in the country.

Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, has reminded President Buhari that the Grazing Reserves Act of 1964 which President is bent on reviving was only applicable to northern Nigeria.

The Senior Advocate of Nigeria maintained that the Grazing Reserves Act was not a law of general application because the ole Western Region, Mid-Western Region and the Eastern Region had ranches for animal husbandry
