RB Leipzig seeks neutral venue for champions league match against Liverpool

German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig is looking for a neutral venue for its last-16 Champions League match against Liverpool on February 16.

This is because the German Interior Ministry has said Liverpool will not be allowed to enter the country because of strict Covid-19 rules.

UEFA’s regulations provide that the Bundesliga side must find a way of hosting the match or risk forfeiting it as a 3-zero defeat.
