Secure uncompleted, abandoned property; Gov Sanwo-Olu charges owners

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has promised to ensure that Lagos remains safe and secure for all.

Governor Sanwo-Olu made the promised against the backdrop of the high rate of insecurity in different parts of the country.

Among measures being adopted to deal with the problem, Governor Sanwo-Olu said government will handle the issue of motorcycle in a systematic order.

He also appealed to citizens who have buildings that are either not completed or abandoned to get a professional security company to protect such property, because criminals may use them as hideouts.

He was speaking at the 3rd Session of the 34th Synod of the Diocese of Lagos, Church of Nigeria Anglican Communion, which was held yesterday.

Governor Sanwo-Olu assured that Lagos will be a state that everybody would be proud of, adding that his administration will deliver on all six-pillars of his development agenda for a ‘Greater Lagos.’
