Security operatives disrupt recruitment of doctors for Saudi Arabia

Security operatives have reportedly stopped the ongoing recruitment of Nigerian doctors who applied to work in Saudi Arabia.

Several medical doctors have been taking part in the Saudi job screening at the Sheraton Hotels, Abuja since Tuesday this week.

Reports say a journalist with the International Centre for Investigative Reporting, identified as Marcus Fatunde, was also arrested at the venue but later released.

The Vice-President of the National Association of Resident Doctors, Doctor Adejo Arome, also told reporters that he confirmed the suspension of the screening from the organisers and some of the applicants.
