The Senate has passed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill and approved the electronic transmission of results.
The approval was given today when the lawmakers resumed plenary after a three-week recess.
The Senate Leader, Yahaya Abdullahi in his presentation, said the Bill will help in deepening the country democratic process.
The Senate during plenary also ordered the Inspector General of Police, Ahmed Baba Alkali to publish the report of the investigation into the invasion of the residence of Justice Mary Odili’s house.
