The Senate Minority Leader, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, has called for a thorough investigation of the attacks on security formations in some parts of the country.
Senator Abaribe made the call in a statement released by his media adviser, Uchenna Awom, two days after gunmen attacked the Imo State Police Command Headquarters and the Owerri Costodial Centre.
The PDP Senator from Abia State wants the security agencies to determine the motives behind the attacks and to make the criminal elements to face justice.
The Minority Leader said the attack on the police, which is the first line of civil defense, was unacceptable and should be condemned.
