South-East Leaders agree to stop enforcement of sit-at-home order

Leaders from the five states in the South-East Geopolitical Zone have agreed to put an end to the enforcement of sit-at-home protest by pro-Biafra agitators.

The Chairman of the South-East Governors’ Forum and Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, announced the decision at the end of a meeting hosted by the Enugu State government.

Governor Umahi said the South-East leaders also agreed on a joint launch of the Ebube Agu regional security outfit, and adopted December this year as the deadline for states to make the necessary laws.

Speaking further; Governor Umahi said South-East leaders at the meeting also received reports from various committees of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.
