The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped two places in the latest ranking by football world governing body, FIFA.
The Super Eagles lost fourteen points to finish at the thirty-sixth position in FIFA’s ranking for the month of October.
The ranking was released after the Nigerian national football team lost one-zero at home to Central African Republic in their 2022 World Cup qualifier played in Lagos.
The Eagles later went on to beat the Central African Republic two-zero in their return leg to retain their fifth position in Africa.
Meanwhile; Senegal retained their top spot in Africa, followed by Tunisia, Morocco, and Algeria; while Belgium remains the number one team in the world.
