Swiss billionaire Hansjorg Wyss says he has been offered a chance to buy Chelsea Football Club of England.
Eighty-six-year-old WYSS made this known to a Swiss newspaper, which claims that Chelsea’s owner, Roman Abramovich wants to get rid of the club.
This comes after the Russian billionaire asked Chelsea foundation trustees to take care of the club, after he was expelled from the United Kingdom following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
Fifty-five-year-old Abramovich is alleged to have strong ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, which he has denied.
