The 2021 Intra African Trade Fair has ended in Durban South Africa, and the next edition will take place in the city of Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, in 2023.
This was announced by Nigeria’s former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, at the closing ceremony of the event in Durban.
Obasanjo, who spoke in his capacity as Chairman of IATF 2021 Advisory Council, thanked the African Export-Import Bank, the African Union Commission, and the South Africa Government for organizing the event.
Also speaking, the Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area, Wamkele Mene, said deals worth thirty-six billion US dollars were sealed at the IATF.
