32 Local Government Chairmen inaugurated in Oyo State

Newly elected local government chairmen have resumed work in thirty-two local government councils in Oyo State.

The State Chief Judge, Justice Munta Abimbola, led the new local government chairmen to recite their oath of office at a ceremony in the capital, Ibadan.

Governor Seyi Makinde was also present at the event, during which he challenge the new chairmen to implement policies that would benefit people in the communities.

Recall that candidates of the People’s Democratic Party won thirty-two chairmanship seats in the local government election last Saturday.

However; the election for Ido Local Government was suspended due to non-inclusion of the logo of Zenith Labour Party in the ballot.
