The government of Anambra State criticized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission for putting Governor Willie Obiano on its watch-list.
The Commissioner of Information and Public Enlightenment, Don Adinuba, said the EFCC went too far by making the information public, adding that Governor Obiano had about four months left in office.
He confirmed that Governor Obiano is currently out of the country, adding that he did not disguise himself when he traveled through on the international airports in the country.
Recall that the EFCC had written to the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Immigration Service to keep an eye on Governor Obiano and stop him from leaving the country.
