suspected political thugs have attacked the convoys of the two major contenders for the governorship election in Ondo State.
Reports say the convoys of Governor ROTIMI AKEREDOLU and EYITAYO JEGEDE were attacked in Oba-Akoko, in Akoko Southwest Local Government Area.
Governor AKEREDOLU is seeking a second term election on the platform of the APC, while EYITAYO JEGEDE is the candidate of the PDP.
Meanwhile; the spokespersons for the candidates have issued statements on the incidents, and accused the other of instigating the attacks.
