APC plots to retain power for 36 years

The ruling All Progressives Congress at the federal level says it will need to be in power for up to thirty-six years to completely meet the expectations of Nigerians in terms of dividends of democracy.

As a result, the current leadership of the APC has set up a committee to draw up strategies on how to achieve its objective to remain in power for six terms, back-to-back.

The Chairman of the APC’s Caretaker-Extraordinary National Convention Planning Committee, Mai Mala Buni, made the declaration during a media briefing in Abuja.

Buni, who doubles as Governor of Yobe State, said the vision of his team is to drive the APC to go beyond seventh, eighth and ninth terms of office.
