The National Convention of the All Progressives Congress will no longer hold this Saturday, February 26, 2022.
This is because the APC has notified the Independent National Electoral Commission that it plans to hold its zonal congresses on March 26, 2022.
The fresh notice was contained in a letter to INEC Chairman, Professor Mayhmoud Yakubu, which was jointly signed by the Chairman of the APC National Caretaker Committee, Mai Mala Buni, and the Secretary, John Akpanudoedehe.
According to the letter, the APC said the notice of its zonal congresses replaces the previous letter informing INEC of its national convention for February 26, 2022.
National Secretary of the APC, John Akpanudoedehe, wo also confirmed the latest development while briefing newsmen in Abuja, said the zonal congresses will lead to the national convention.
