Nigeria’s Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo, has briefed President Muhammadu Buhari how he handled the affairs of state when the President traveled to United Kingdom for medical checkup.
The briefing by Professor Osinbajo came five days after President BUHARI returned to Abuja from London, where he spent sixteen days at the Abuja House.
The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, confirmed the meeting between the President and the Vice President at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
In another development; the Acting Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba, has held his first meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
Igp Baba was led to the meeting with the President by the Minister of Police Affairs, Mohammed Dingyadi.
After the meeting; the Acting IGP said they discussed ways to improve the performance of the police, including increased manpower and logistics.
