The Central Bank of Nigeria has launched a new programme which is intended to attract two hundred billion US dollars of foreign investment into the country.
The CBN initiative is being done under the Bankers Committee, and it is known as RT-200-FX Programme.
CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele told newsmen in Abuja that the target is expected to be achieved over a period of three to five years.
Speaking further, the CBN Governor said the RT-200-FX Programme will provide funding for the processing of raw materials that are usually exported to other countries.
