An Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court in Lagos State has ordered one Tom Godswill to be remanded at the Ikoyi Custodial Centre for allegedly defiling his sixteen-year-old daughter.
The forty-seven-year-old man will remain in the Custodial Centre until March 22, when Chief Magistrate A.O Ajibade expects to have received an advice from the Lagos State Directorate of Public Prosecutions.
ASP Kehinde Ajayi, who is the prosecution counsel, told the court that the man allegedly committed the criminal act against his daughter sometime in November and December, 2019, in Alagbado area of Lagos.
