The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission says it has recovered assorted properties worth over ten point nine billion naira linked to a military officer.
The Commission said there are a total of twenty-four properties scattered across Kano, Kaduna, Borno and Cross River states.
The EFCC did not mention the name of the military officer, but said the recovery followed an order by Justice N.E. Maha of the Federal High Court.
In a statement, the EFCC said Justice Maha granted an order for final forfeiture of the assets after no one came forward to show proof of ownership of the properties since May 2020.
