FG begs JUSUN to end strike

The Federal Government has appealed to the Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria to suspend its nationwide strike.

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, made the appeal at a meeting with the leadership of JUSUN.

Ngige reminded the judicial workers that just like doctors and nurses, they offer essential services, which do not require them to go on strike.

The Minister also said the country cannot make progress when the laws are not enforced.
