The Federal Government has declared a public holiday for Friday, the first day of October, for the celebration of Nigeria’s sixty-first independence anniversary.
This was announced by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, on behalf of the Federal Government.
The Minister congratulated all Nigerians on the Independence Day celebration, and assured that the government remained committed to tackling all forms of challenges facing the country.
