The Federal Government has declared Tuesday and Wednesday next week – July 20 and 21 – as public holidays for the celebration of the Muslim festival of Eid-el-Kabir.
The declaration by the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, was contained in a statement released by the Permanent Secretary, Shuaib Belgore.
Rauf Aregbesola called on Muslims and all Nigerians, both at home and in the Diaspora, to embrace love, peace, kindness and sacrifice, as thought by the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
