Gov Akeredolu begins 2nd term; promises to build on achievements

Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has been sworn in for a second term in office.

Governor Akeredolu took the oath of office during a ceremony today at the International Cultural and Events Centre in Akure.

The Governor took the oath of office along with the Deputy Governor, Lucky Ayedatiwa, which was administered to them by the State Chief Judge, Justice Olanrewaju Akeredolu.

In his address; Governor Akeredolu promised to continue to build on the achievements during his first term in office.

The Ondo State inauguration ceremony was witnessed by some Southwest APC chieftains, including the governors of Lagos, Ogun, Osun, and Ekiti states.

Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, who is of the People’s Democratic Party, was also present in Akure for the inauguration.
