Governor Sanwo-Olu charges new LGA-LCDA chairmen on people-oriented programme

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has charged the fifty-seven newly inaugurated local government chairmen in Lagos State to execute programmes and projects that will help promote development and reduce poverty among people in the grassroots.

Governor Sanwo-Olu also reminded the council chairmen that the manifesto of the APC, which they represent, gives top consideration for development and the welfare of the people.

Sanwo-Olu said they are expected to sustain the support, trust and confidence of the people by promoting inclusive governance that would produce good results.

He gave the charge at an induction ceremony for the new council chairmen, during which he also outlined the progress of three hundred and seventy-seven projects in various communities across the state.
