Gunmen have attacked the staff quarters of the University of Abuja at Gwagwalada, and abducted six persons.
Those who were taken away by the hoodlums are two professors, a senior lecturer, and three of their family members.
The branch Chairman of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Doctor Kassim Umaru, mentioned the names of those who were kidnapped.
One of the victims, John Obansa, who managed to escape, said the gunmen were about thirty in number.
