Lagos residents complain about rising cost of cooking gas

Residents of Lagos State have cried out over the increasing cost of cooking gas, also known as Liquefied Natural Gas.

From Surulere to Ikeja areas of Lagos, the price of a kilogram of cooking gas is now selling between four hundred and fifty naira and six hundred naira, depending on the gas plants.

Some concerned members of the public who spoke with Lasgidi FM’s Chukwuemeka Obioma, complained that the increase in the price of gas is making life more difficult for them.

However; some gas plant operators around Iganmu area of Lagos, who also spoke with our man, said that the increase in the price of the commodity has also changed the way they do their business.
