More details have emerged on the killing of a security guard at the Agboju-Festac Town Second Gate market in Amuwo Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State.
Lasgidi FM News Desk reported that the body of the security guard, Hamza Adams, was recovered around Alakija area of the Lagos-Badagry Expressway, after he was allegedly murdered by hoodlums operating under the name of Voluntary Police.
The Festac Town Divisional Police Officer, Superintendent Balogun Gboyega told Lasgidi FM’s Najite Atirene that was aware of the case, but had no knowledge of the Voluntary Police group.
Superintendent Gboyega also confirmed the transfer of the investigation of the death of the market security guard, Hamza Adams, to the State Criminal Investigation Department, Panti, Yaba.
