The Nigerian Bar Association is to investigate a case of assault of a security guard by the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Danladi Yakubu Umar.
The NBA’s move is in response to a trending video on social media in which the CCT Chairman is seen physically assaulting a security guard at Banex Plaza in Wuse area of Abuja.
The NBA, in a statement by its spokesman, Rapulu Nduka, said its investigation is to determine whether Danladi Yakubu Umar conducted himself in the right manner as a member of the legal profession.
