The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA has seized over twenty-two thousand, one hundred and sixty kilograms of Codeine syrup, Methamphetamine and a variant of Marijuana known as Skunk at Apapa seaport and at Akala, Mushin, Lagos.
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, disclosed in a statement that a total of fourteen thousand, eighty-kilogram codeine syrup were seized at the Apapa port.
Babafemi said the skunk imported from Ghana and Methamphetamine weighing three thousand, seven hundred and twenty-seven kilogram were seized in an early morning raid at Akala, Mushin.
He also disclosed that the seizure at the Lagos seaport followed intelligence from foreign partners and cooperation of other port stakeholders.
