The new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress Abdullahi Adamu on has formally resigned from the Senate.
Senator Abubakar Kyari representing Borno North also resigned from the Upper Chamber.
Adamu and Kyari, in separate letters read by Senate President Ahmad Lawan on the floor of the red chamber, said their action became necessary following their emergence as National Chairman and Deputy National Chairman (North) of the APC respectively.
