The All Progressives Congress has held its final rally for the governorship election in Ondo State this Saturday.
The APC rally had in attendance chieftains of the party from different parts of Nigeria, including some state governors elected on the platform of the APC.
President MUHAMMADU BUHARI was not physically present but sent his goodwill message through a recorded video.
Similarly; Vice President YEMI OSINBAJO could not attend the APC rally in Akure in person but sent a recorded video message.
In Ondo Town, the People’s Democratic Party also concluded its campaign for the Ondo State governorship election with a grand rally.
PDP’s National Chairman, UCHE SECONDUS, led other party leaders, including PDP Governors of Abia, Adamawa, Rivers, and Sokoto state to give support to their candidate, EYITAYO JEGEDE.
The PDP Governor from Abia State, OKEZIE IKPEAZU, Governor AHMED FINTIRI of Adamawa State, and Governor NYESOM WIKE of Rivers State were among senior party members who attended the final rally.
Former Governor of Ekiti State, AYO FAYOSE, and the Senate Minority Leader, Senator ENYINNAYA ABARIBE, were also present in Ondo Town.
